OCDTime made her think at first, and then sleep evaded her.
She could not sleep, even if she wanted to.
So she began to clean and dust do her duty.
Suddenly she saw the small cracks in the wooden cabinets, the mold hiding in the crevice under the toilet seat, the loose handle on a drawer, the bent in the blinds, the dust on the fan.
She cleaned more and more, finding each piece to fix and dust.
There it was done; she relaxed at the seat of her desktop.
A type at the keys and she automatically stopped.
Deep in their track sat more dust underneath them, clinging as if they belonged there and no where else.
Yet she wouldn’t have it; so out cam the cloth and cleaner.
Time spent on and she cleaned the keyboard, then back to dishes, to drawers, to clothes, washers, furniture, floors…
She kept on, yet no matter how much was done, more would accumulate where she last had been the days before.
Yet it did not matter so much until finally, years had passed and days had clashed togethe
